Science-backed coaching for real-life health habits
You are not failing at your health. Your routines were never built for your real life.
Most health advice ignores the life you’re trying to manage.
You may already know what would help: eating well, moving your body, sleeping better, managing stress, and making time for yourself.
But knowing what to do is not the same as being able to do it consistently in the middle of a full life. Work, family responsibilities, life transitions, changing health needs, and shifting routines can make even the best intentions hard to maintain.
On top of that, conflicting health advice can make it even harder to know what actually matters, what applies to you, and where to begin.
It’s not a willpower problem.
If you have been blaming yourself for not staying consistent, there may be more to the story
Your routines keep getting interrupted.
Work, family, stress, schedules, and life transitions make consistency harder.
Generic plans do not fit your real life.
Most advice ignores your energy, environment, responsibilities, and bandwidth.
You are tired of starting over.
You do not need another reset. You need a realistic way to build habits that last.
I’m Dr. Shailja Tiku
Meet Dr. Shailja Tiku
A scientist-led approach to health, habits, and real-life change.
A public health and behavioral scientist and health & wellness coach with a background in clinical medicine, public health, health education, and behavior change.
My work combines medicine, public health, and behavior change — helping women move beyond information overload and build sustainable habits that fit real life.
Though I started my career as a medical doctor, I longed to pursue more opportunities in health promotion and disease prevention. I became increasingly drawn to prevention: understanding how behavior, environment, stress, and everyday routines shape long-term health. That perspective led me into public health, where I deepened my work around behavior change, health education, and real-world health outcomes.
Today, I bring that combined perspective into Restore with Dr. Tiku, translating complex health concepts into practical, meaningful support for women who want to feel better and build a sustainable foundation for long-term health.
From research to real-world health education
As Mrs. Wisconsin International 2019, I used my platform to focus on mental and heart health awareness and community-based health education. That experience expanded my ability to translate complex health concepts into meaningful, accessible conversations, a skill that continues to shape my coaching today.
